Bartender Full Time

Thanos Hotels & Resorts is currently looking to recruit a Bartender for Anassa Hotel.

Job Role:

−To ensure that standards of service in your designated working station are met at all times in accordance to the Food and Beverage Standards and the Policies and Regulations of Thanos Hotels
−To assist in the day to day operation of Bar outlet in order to exceed guest satisfaction and expectations
−To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the food and beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of productivity within the organization

Duties & Responsibilities:

−Responsible for the setup, breakdown and service of working station by following the instructions of the Bar Manager
−Maintain a friendly and discreet approach towards all guests while greeting and serving them
−Knowledge of all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients and methods of preparation
−Follow the correct and consistent service techniques for drinks and cocktail preparation according to the F&B standards
−Follow the correct and consistent service techniques according to the F&B standards
−Check daily, the condition of all facilities and equipment at the Bar, and take appropriate action were necessary
−Developing new cocktail recipes
−Attend daily/weekly departmental meetings when required
−Comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations
−Follow the Grooming Policy and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
−Perform any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Bar Manager

Requirements:               

−Minimum 3 years of proven experince in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
−Degree in Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
−Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
−Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
−Computer Literate
−Commitment to learning & self-development
−Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
−Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
−Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints.
