Chemist Laboratory Technician Full Time

Our client is a well-established company based in Cyprus that focuses on the production of various products that are used in multiple industries. They aim to provide superior quality service by continuously improving their systems and developing their team. They are currently looking for a highly skilled Chemist Laboratory Technician to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

Conducting laboratory tests and experiments as per requirements of the project
Preparing and analysing samples using various laboratory techniques and equipment
Performing quality control tests on products and raw materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Recording and interpreting data, preparing reports, and presenting results to the supervisor/team
Maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring its proper functioning, and performing maintenance as required
Maintaining accurate records of all laboratory activities, including test results, observations, and data analysis
Adhering to all laboratory safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
Participating in the development and validation of new laboratory procedures and methods

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field is not required but preferred
Any previous work experience in a related field will be advantageous for the candidacy
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential
Familiarity with laboratory techniques, equipment, and procedures
Very good command in Greek and English (written & verbal)
Good computer skills and excellent knowledge of MS-Office
Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
