Junior/Middle PHP backend developer Full Time

Our client, a start-up company (in the field of mobile software development) located in Limassol, Cyprus. Is currently looking for a junior / middle PHP backend developer to join their young and friendly team.

Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-performance, reliable and reusable backend API applications.
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Work with third-party APIs
Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
Integrate with existing CI/CD workflow
Tech Stack : PHP (symfony), AWS (S3, SQS), Postgresql, Docker

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1+ years of experience experience building software in PHP
knowledge of PHP 8
experience with Symfony / Laravel
Postgresql / MySQL
Understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS principles and design patterns
English at the Intermediate level

Will be a plus:

DDD
practical experience in creating a public API
Experience with CI/CD
experience with React.js / Node.js
experience or interest in learning GOlang
