Loss & Prevention Officer Full Time

Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, member of Marriott International, is looking for an experienced Loss & Prevention Officer.

Main responsibilities:

Ø  Patrol all areas of the property; secure rooms; assist guests with room access.

Ø  Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audit.

Ø  Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems.

Ø  Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.

Ø  Assist guests/employees during emergency situations.

Ø  Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.

Ø  Gather information and complete reports.

Ø  Resolve safety hazard situations.

Ø  Handle all interruptions and complaints and escort unwelcome persons from the property.

Ø  Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.

Ø  Call for assistance using proper code responses.

Required qualifications:

Ø  High school diploma or equivalent.

Ø  1 or 2+ years’ experience in the same position in a hotel environment

Ø  Good understanding of English language, both oral and written

Ø  Security License is required.

Ø  Excellent verbal communication skills.

Ø  Ability to work under stress.

Ø  Perceptive and intuitive with excellent judgment.

Ø  Capacity to perform duties with speed and precision.

Ø  Good communication skills
