PHP – Software Developer Full Time

Our client is a global industry-leading information technology firm. Currently, they are looking for a PHP – Software Developer to join their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will take part in all stages of the web development life cycle.

Job Responsibilities

Work on highly-scalable applications with PHP and other technologies
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
Analyze product requirements and translating to design specifications
Work with exciting technologies (Docker, Microservices, Elasticsearch, Redis, PHP 8+, REST APIs & more)

Requirements:

2 years+ of software development experience.
Experienced in backend language (preferably PHP)
Hands on experience with PHP Frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony etc)
Experience with SQL databases
Experience with large scale web projects
Knowledge and experience with REST APIs and Web services
Experience with Git source control
Excellent communication skills in English

Nice-to-haves:

Knowledge of JavaScript /NodeJS is a plus
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Docker and Linux
