Senior Software Engineer (React)

Our client is one of the leading ship management companies globally today. They manage a diverse fleet of vessels via a worldwide network of fully owned subsidiary offices, coordinated from their headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus. Now, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (React) to join their team. They successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and will have strong understanding of front-end/UI design methodologies.

Requirements

With strong understanding of front-end/UI design methodologies,
With minimum 3 years of working experience
Excellent knowledge with React Native and React paradigms,
With good understanding of business requirements and ability to identify flaws when reviewing the codebase that has strong and demonstrable problem-solving abilities,
Comfortable with self-management and on-the-job learning,
Curious and passionate about new technologies,
With Excellent troubleshooting skills, who likes teaching and sharing knowledge.
Ideally (but not restrictive) should have:Experience with React and Redux,
Good knowledge of restful APIs,
Experience with websockets and eventual consistency,
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Rollup, Lerna
Experience with Typescript,
Experience with unit tests experience with branching strategies in Git and as well as
Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery practises, experience working in agile environments.
Nice to haves:Experience with Next.js, experience in Scrum and agile methodologies,
Experience with JIRA, Web/Graphic Design Skills will be considered an advantage.
