Position Overview: As a Sous Chef at our establishment, you will play a pivotal role in the kitchen’s success. Working closely with our Executive Chef, you will assist in overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and inspiring a team of dedicated cooks to deliver excellence with every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and execute innovative menu offerings that showcase seasonal ingredients and delight our guests.
• Supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, maintaining consistency and high standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage food costs to maximize profitability.
• Train and mentor kitchen personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Understanding of food safety standards and procedures.
